How do we know? Well, just ask Dan Rather of course

John Kerry's desperate campaign is getting more desperate. How much so? Well, he's flipped back into Howard Dean mode and has decided he's against the war again. There's even a rumor that after this speech in Albequerqe, NM today, he let out a primal scream -- Yeeeeeeaaaaawwwh!

Here's an excerpt:

"He (Bush) doesn't tell us that with each passing day, we're seeing more chaos, more violence, more indiscriminate killings. He won't tell us that the Pentagon itself has reported that entire regions of Iraq are now in the hands of terrorists and insurgents where they weren't before," Kerry said. "He won't tell us that, day by day, we're running out of soldiers and that we're now resorted to a backdoor draft of our reservists and our National Guard."

As pathetic and cowardly as Kerry's defeatism in the war on terror is, something to laugh about does emerge from this speech. To what does Kerry attribute this wealth of knowledge he possesses about the dire situation in Iraq? Read this next excerpt and please refrain from drinking whilst reading unless you wish to have your monitor splattered with beverage:

"With all due respect to the president, has he turned on the evening news lately? Does he read the newspapers?"

Uh...with all due respect to Mr. Kerry, has he read the blogosphere lately? Methinks not for if so he would have learned that the "evening news" is not a source you really want to be trumpeting these days.

And why does Bush have to give us all this naysaying information in the first place when we have Kerry, Brokaw, RAthER, and Jennings to keep us so informed.

If George Bush suddenly walked on water, the lead story at 630 on all 3 networks would be:

BUSH CAN'T SWIM!!
