BIOLOGICAL weapons that target selected ethnic groups could become part of the terrorists' arsenal unless governments and scientists act now, the British Medical Association warns.
Such designer weapons would be based on the growing ability of scientists to unravel and compare human DNA.
In theory, experts could engineer organisms to attack genetic variations commonly found in, say, Chinese or German populations. But this seems like a dangerous weapon for Islamic fascists, given that there are so many Saudi intermarriages. The Wahhabis may be easier to target than, say, Americans.

OK, this is not related to the post, but I'm not a contributor and have to work with what I find. This was too good to pass up.
Drudge has a link today to a story on ethnic weapons. It says, in part:

Oh, and now that I've actually read it, Mark Steyn's column is excellent.
Interesting and bizarre stuff, VA. Oh, that scientists could fashion a weapon to attack only the DNA of Hollywood celebrities.
