Bread, Peace, Land!
Pravda West has this article on Stalin and the brouhaha about a new statue of him that is to be dedicated (seems that there is only one left and its nose is broken).
It is noted that a recent poll by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center found that half of the respondents looked favorably on Stalin, with 20% describing his role in the life of the country as "very Positive" and 30% calling it "somewhat positive." Only 12% described it as "very negative". (Those 12% are being transported to Siberia as I type). The millions killed during his regime abstained.
If this new found love of Stalin in Russia doesn't scare you, how about a picture of Rosie O'Donnell playing a retarded woman? Hmm. . it interferes with Desperate Housewives, so I just don't know what to do).

Wow.
I suppose that's what happens when a system collapses without a crushing military defeat and humiliation.
As for Rosie O'Donnell, isn't she concerned about typecasting?
