You wouldn't be referring to that skater whose photo I saw in today's papers, would you? The cutesy one in frilly powder blue? Who, it turns out, is not a girl?
Oh, come on, people, how could you not like that Plushenko? He was skating for his parents, who worked all their lives for a pittance so that he could make something of himself. He crossed himself after finishing his routine. And apparently he kept kissing his wedding ring after he finished. I'll say it loud. I liked Plushenko, and I'm proud!
I was referring to Johnny Weir. Hadn't seen pics of Plushenko, though I just looked in google.
Wasn't referring to Plushenko, just everyone else who competed.
