I'm always shocked at the people who are in those things..not that I didn't know they had passed..but when put all together like that it seems like we lose so many of the greats so fast..
Yeah, I know, Temp. I don't think I *did* know about some of those people. Especially sad to see Darrin McGavin and Jack Warden in there.
I believe the formal term for that is a necrology (a chronology of the dead). It is always my favorite part of the Oscars.
Was anyone else irritated by the interposing of the hard-wood floor, arabesqueing woman in white thing?So unnecessary. Didn't know we lost Bruno Kirby and Jack Wild.
I found it irritating, WD. I bet the Rumpus owns enough movies to create their own tribute.
