Downright Orwellian John!
If John Edwards had his way, not only would we have universal health coverage, but you would HAVE TO go to the doctor:
"If you are going to be in the system, you can't choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK."
I can just see men in black suits showing up at the door and escorting gramma down to the clinic for her pap smear.
Freedom FROM government is one of the hallmarks of our nation. Guess they didn't teach old Silky Hair that one in his law school!
