What cracks me up is that they've gone on with the pretense that their only concern is doing what's right for the "American taxpayers." If they sincerely believe that this bailout is necessary and right, and that it will prevent economic collapse, how on earth do they justify saying they won't put the bill up for a vote unless a sufficient number of House Republicans provide political "cover"?
