Must be the clouds in my eyes
Here's Elton John playing tennis recently:
Woa. I don't see a Wimbledon title in his future but I do see some more chili fries.
Sung to the tune of Daniel:
Elton is playing some tennis toniiight on the clay
After a couple whiffs at the ball, he's heading for the buffet
Oh, and, I can see Elton growing in size
God, it looks like Elton
Must be the clooouuuds in my eyes...

That is SIR Elton to you, you commonor.
What, you got no fat people in California? Maybe he has a "glandular" problem.
We don't have fat people here, only calorie intake challenged.
Elton lyric quiz:
I'm sure I could easily look this up now that I'm thinking about it but my entire life, I've never known the lyric in Elton's "Rocket Man" that follows the title phrase --
Rooooocket maaaaaaaaaaaaaan
something something something everloooong!
(I always sing "burrrning down the treees so everlooong! -- which can't be right)
Anyone know it without cheating? I know Stewdog will google it. He's been googling since he hit puberty.
Wonderdog - I always heard, "burning on a fuse not very long". Never really cared 100% for Sir Elton's song stylings. I think Bernie Taupin wrote the music and then Elton wrote the lyrics to fit or vice versa. Either way, you're cramming or stretching words to fit and it ends up sounding strained. That's my music review for the week.
Dirtbiker for W
Many thanks, Dirtbiker! Your hearing of the line makes much more sense than mine. If and when I ever hear that lame song again, I'll be sure to try it out! I'll sleep much better tonight...ahhhhh
