Hostage Margaret Hassan believed slain

It now appears that British citizen and longtime Iraqi aid worker Margaret Hassan was slain by her evil captors. A video has been released which purports to show a hooded man shooting her point blank in the head.

We here at Rumpus had been praying for Ms. Hassan and her family for her safe return home. God has decided, rather, to take her home to Him.

Evil is incomprehensible. Grief is inconsolable. God is ever loving and ever beyond our complete understanding. May He give her family strength and comfort during this terrible time. Our prayers are with them.
