Random thoughts

I wonder when the liberals out here in La La land are going to take a razor blade to those "Selected Not Elected" bumper stickers. With W winning 51% of the popular vote and a whopping 58,662,020 votes, he has broken the all-time popular vote total previously held by Reagan.

Smiling that the myth of John Zogby, democratic operative pollster extroardinaire, has finally been debunked. His numbers were way off this election. heh.

Why do I get the feeling Barbra Streisand is still in bed, looking really disgusting and puffy, wondering if Kerry has won Ohio yet?

I'm wondering if the French are really demoralized today after their defeat or if they're simply too used to it for it to bother them much. From John Miller at the Corner:

"I just caught a TV image of Kerry's townhouse on Louisburg Square in Boston. It just so happens that Louisburg was the site of an important French military defeat."

What must Syria be thinking today? What must Iran be thinking? What must the collective, corrupt, gluttonous, blood-for-oil minions at the U.N. be thinking today? Put on your lipstick, boys, cuz W's arse is ripe for kissing.

How many boxes of powdered donuts do you think Michael Moore has devoured this morning to alleviate the pain of last night's kick in the gut? I'm sure the guys at Hostess are scratching their heads at the sudden uptick in sales.

Was Theresa Heinz Kerry real or just a figment of my imagination? Why am I thinking that if she was real, that she's probably consoling herself today by playing with some kind of pet monkey.

The Main Stream Media must be shaking their heads in disbelief this morning, similar to an exhausted Apollo Creed when, after pummeling Rocky and finally knocking him to the ground, he watched him slowly bring himself to his feet and gesture with this weary arms for Apollo to "come on".

God is in his heaven. All is right with the world.

Outstanding, Wonderdog!! I was still too tired, and giddy, from last night's marathon to collect my thoughts -- but you said it all, bro. There may come a day for graciousness, but it is not this day. This day, we gloat!

How did the concession speeches go? I thought I'd planned things perfectly, getting drilled & filled between the Kerry Edwards speech at 1 and the Bush/Cheney speech at 3. But of course those libs can't be counted on and moved the time to 2. The dentist's oldies station apparently doesn't break for news. So instead of Kerry Edwards, I got to listen to the Turtles.

Didn't hear them myself but I heard Kerry was gracious and Edwards was classless and self-promoting.

Say, we've got way too many lawyers around here. Can I ship you a box car full?
