Morning Musings
Happy Friday to all. Beware the April Fools. Speaking of which, the comics Foxtrot and Get Fuzzy were practically identical today, suggesting a collaberative April Fools Spoof by the two artists.
Reminds me of one of the greatest April Fools stunts ever. Many years back, the April 1 edition of Sports Illustrated featured an article written by Geoge Plimpton about a phenom pitcher that the Mets had in the minors, Sid Fitch. It was incredibly well written and bought by many hook, line and sinker.
Pope John Paul looks to be not long for this world. What a fascinating and impactive life he led.
This 80 degree weather in So Cal is boring already. I miss the rain.
Yankess v. Red Sox Sunday evening. Opening Game. Play Ball!!

Pearls Before Swine was also in on the comic strip joke.
Thanks for the 411, CIV. We don't get that strip in the hallowed pages of the Times de lost Angeles.
