Smile, though your heart is breaking

In light of some intense and sobering recent current events, I thought it was time we lightened up a bit. And you know what that means, right?

Do You Want Your Old Lobbie Washed Down? Do I ever! I haven't heard that song in years. Makes me think of some other great Scottish classics - Aren't you Ginna Eat Your Haggis? - A Wee Kilt Makes a Big Man - and that perrenial hit - I'll See Ye When the Double Malt's Gone. Aye, brings tears to the eyes it does.

Dirtbiker, I saw Stuart at Staples last year and I was in the mosh pit up front. When he did "Wee Kilt Makes a Big Man", they rushed the stage and almost had to cancel the rest of the concert. Luckily the show resumed and when he did an encore acoustic version of "Haggis", the lighters came out. Awesome.

Wonderdog, don't forget when he did "Doon in the Wee Room" and did that stage dive and we all passed the dude. He is an amazing performer. Not since Liza or Barbra has there been such a stage presence who can do everything.

I suppose there's no hope of someone on the Right Coast (esp. one who avoids TV and movies) understanding what the heck this is all about. But the photo tells me I'm probably better off not knowing. Ugh.

Now this is more MY style:

"Florida's legislature has approved a bill that would give residents the right to open fire against anyone they perceive as a threat in public, instead of having to try to avoid a conflict as under prevailing law."

Florida eyes allowing residents to open fire whenever they see threat

I may just have to retire to Florida...

I've never heard of him either. Looks like a Neverland Ranch appetizer to me.
