Bedeviled and Bewitched

Keeping up with Hollywood's latest trend of remaking old TV shows into new movies with a twist, Warner Brothers announced that Dallas, will be remade into a film with a Tolkien theme. The movie will end with a retooling of the famous Dallas episode, renamed "Who shot J.R.R."?

Speaking of which, I hear that there may be Tolkien references in some of Led Zeppelin's songs.

There are no Tolkien references in Led Zeppelin, but the Randy Newman song "Short People" was originally written as the theme for a weekly sitcom based on "The Hobbit."

I think you are pulling one of my legs, Man of Madness, but in case you aren't it appears that there are frank and suggested JRR refrences in many Zep songs:
Misty Moutain Hop
Battle of Evermore
Ramble On
Stairway to Heaven.

Oh. . and "Short People" was about stock speculators.
