The Leonard Tose Route

Kate Marie has suggested that I explain the Leonard Tose references, and I herein comply. Leonard Tose was, at one time, the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles. He had it all and lost it because of gambling and drinking. There used to be a great radio show in LA where the host, Jim Healy, played clips in a humorous manner. One that was often used was describing someone who had gone "The Leonard Tose Route". The expression has gotten into the vernacular of sports talk and a So Cal sports fan over 30 will know immediately what you mean if you use the expression (Just like a hockey fan will know that "Have another donut you fat pig" refers to an incident with Don Koharsky, but that is another blog).
