I say we all attend a screening of that movie and do some kind of Merry Prankster-ish protest.

How weird. "Hey guys, let's take a protest icon and fictionalize her already-familiar story. But let's not make a TV movie that millions might watch; let's write a play, which will be seen by only the tiny minority of people in one city who attend the theater and who already agree with our heroine in the first place."
There are days when I'm absolutely convinced that right-wing moles are burrowed very, very deeply among the activist left.
