August Birthdays
My sainted grandmother Ruthie used to say that "all the good people are born in August". She was prejudiced, as hers fell on the 23rd. She would have been 111 this month, God Bless her.

What a coincidence. CIV's spouse and rugrat are August birthdays, too. Makes it hard to celebrate if you want to vacation, as you've got to lug the party or plan around it. And then if you order stuff, it seems to arrive the week you're gone. Bah, humbug.
But then having a birthday during Lent is even less fun. So I take back the humbug.
