Romney's chances
Robert Samuelson at The Claremont Institute blogs about Mitt Romney and suggests that Romney has the makings of a great statesman. I haven't been following Romney's political career very closely, but based on what I have seen of Romney, Samuelson's observation strikes me as spot on.
The knock on Romney is that he can't win a Republican primary because of his Mormonism. Is there anyone out there among our tiny readership who would refuse to vote for Romney because of his religion?
Do you think the number of Republican primary voters who would reject Romney based on his Mormonism outweighs the number who would vote for him because he's handsome?
We aren't afraid to ask the really important questions here at Rumpus.
