Is there one among us who did not dial that number at least once in the 80s?
Yeah. Suicide rates among people who had that number in all area codes went up by 150% between 1982-1985. I was proud to be part of the magic.
Meanwhile, I think someone should start a pool predicting by which wedding anniversary "Dream Weaver" admits to his wife that he got her number off of a bathroom wall or an AIDS walkathon pledge list. He should be careful, if he fesses up before they've had three or four kids I think she'd dump him.
