Last week, when I visited Louisiana, I saw what a rock star Jindal is there. When he appears at the parish fairs, people swarm him and applaud. Some of my relatives who don't follow politics nonetheless know him, like him, and are eager to vote for him. I'm sure he's not as saintly as that article suggests, but I think he'll be good for the state.
I read the article, and all I can say is "Wow!"
I've met only one other man who had Jindal's impressive intelligence, and on other issues, Jindal outscores him.
Amazing.
