Regarding the Hillary revival

This Republican push for Hillary is disturbing to me. It's been my contention throughout these initial months of the campaign that Obama is much easier to beat in the general election. His phenomenon is a brief one. It was fortuitous that he came along to derail the Clinton machine.

Since, I believe, that his phenomenon is wide but not thicker than an inch, I was hoping that inch would take down the Clintons in the primaries and become exposed against McCain this fall.

Alas, Republicans have become so frightened of the Obama hysteria that they're diverted from the true menace...a Hillary Clinton Presidency.

Obama is beginning to fade fast and he would continue to fade in the general election. It's my belief that he would achieve Dukakasian proportions against McCain. Hillary, on the other hand...well...that worries me.

Republicans...be careful what you wish for.

You may be right, WD, but I still think Obama will be the nominee.

All that the Madame accomplished last night was to slow down the momemtum of The Man Who Would Be King. She really didn't make up a ton of delegates. But if she had lost both, she might be dropping out today. Looks like these two will be going after one another up to and including the convention. The Super Delegates will pretty much split, leaving the 300 or so Edwards delegates and Big John as the dealmaker. Interesting scenario.

Opps. . looks like Edwards only has 32. . I was just a zero or so off. . but still. . could those actually matter come convention time? Will the Dems pull an American Idol like competion to decide this? Inquiring minds want to know.

All she had to do was slow the momentum. Once that rapidly ascending rocket loses it's mo, it starts falling back to earth. I agree with WD, by the fall, she'll be the more formidable opponent. I've already bet one of KMa's siblings that the Madame will be the dem nominee. Of course there's always the Derbyshire scenario - Al Gore comes riding into the deadlocked convention on his white charger ( the horse, not the muscle car) and saves the party.

If this thing is still not decided come the dem convention in the summer, the Super Delegates will surely be 90% behind Ms. Rodham.

Obama got in a few lucky punches and he's up against the ropes. If the bell doesn't ring soon, we may have to deal with another eight years of Clinton royalty.
