WHCD

I was flipping channels last night and caught the end of the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, which is always a treat. I missed Bush's words, but caught the tail end of him conducting the band. Craig Ferguson was the keynote speaker, who had a couple of really good lines. He mentioned that Dick Cheney has already started packing. . (it takes a long time to pack an entire dungeon). He also pointed out that the New York Times was absent, refusing to take a table because their attendance at the event raises ethical questions and could impugn their integrity. . . . "as if Jayson Blair hadn't already done that".

C-SPAN
usually repeats it. . Catch it if you get a chance.
