Andrew Sullivan is getting close to violating the Weeble principle

We all know Weebles wobble but they don't fall down, and I have considered Andrew Sullivan a bit of a Weeble on Iraq. Lately, however, he has been getting dangerously close to falling down. Wretchard at Belmont Club takes Sullivan to task for his recent suggestion that Iraq is becoming another Algeria. Sullivan seems to be suffering from the lack of historical vision that VDH decries in his recent piece for NRO.
