There's that "global test" thing again
Via Hugh via The Corner, Bush has been pounding the "global test" hard today:
"The president's job is not to take an international poll. The president's job is to defend America."
Hugh's analysis:
Bush heard it and pounced; knew Kerry had committed a blunder of huge significance and underlined it. Then he moved on, not putting too much focus on it, perhaps because he didn't want Kerry to get a response in right then.
Watch Bush pound away all weekend on this and the other blunders that revealed Kerry's worldview. Watch Cheney do the same thing in Cleveland.
I predict that by the Sunday pundit shows, Kerry's "victory" in the debate will have been downgraded to a draw and then to a slight edge to Bush.
"Global Test" will find its place in the annals of debate-dom.
