Winners and Losers?
I just can't get over this fixation about winning and losing this joint press conference laughingly called a debate.
Clearly Kerry comes across as the more polished and slick orator. We saw Jenjis John morph into Slick John last night. He's a great salesmen, but, hey, Willie Loman, if we really take a good look at those two suitcases, there really isn't much in them.
His new campaign theme song seems to be "Anything you can do, I can do better". And with apoligies to Jimmy Dean, I think his great old song "Big Bad John" needs to be rewritten:
Slick John
Ev'ry mornin' on the Hill you could see him arrive
He stood six foot six , jaw weighed two forty five
Kinda broad at the shoulder and thick in the head
And everybody knew ya didn't give no lip to Slick John.
Kerry will get a short term bounce in the polls, not for what he did, but from what the MSM will tell the American Public he did.
