Morning Report

Drudge exposes Michael Moore's real cause -- the almighty dollar. Apparently he had C-Span cameras yanked from a speech he gave last week at Cal Berkeley. Why, you ask? Surely it must have been the result of some profound fit of righteous indignation on his part! Not according to Drudge:

But sources say Moore presented exclusive footage during the session, footage that never made it into the theatrical version of his 2004 film. Footage that was to be aired exclusively during a high-profile pay-per-view election special. Not a "low-profile" C-SPAN cycle.

Gee, you'd think he'd want this exclusive and important footage to be as accessible to the people as humanly possible, right? I mean, he's all about finding the truth and exposing the lies! -- for a price, that is.

Kofi Annan says the the world is no safer with Saddam Hussein behind bars. I guess those mass graves are just a tribute to Saddam's stability in the region. Are you listening Sudan?

On a lighter note, Roger L. Simon saw Team America - World Police over the weekend and loved it.

Paul Kengor at National Review Online tells us why George W. Bush will be the "toast of history".

Jim Geraghty at The Kerry Spot reminds us all to stay cool and not get carried away with polling results. I'll remain cautious but will still get my Bush is gonna win fix from W's 8 point Gallup lead.

Red Sox win. And Walter Mondale won Minnesota.

Astros win. Now there's a series brewing there. I see this series going 7 with Stewdog's boys pulling it out before the fans at Busch. However, this Astro team does remind me a bit of my beloved 2002 Angels. They just keep coming. I give them a chance.
