NY Times endorses Kerry

I read today that the NY Times has endorsed John Kerry for president.
1) Who Cares?
2) Duh

I've come up with a short list of what this headline is akin to:

1. "Hell Endorses Satan"
2. "The Empire Endorses Darth Vader"
3. "Heinz Endorses Ketchup"
4. "Michael Moore Endorses Donuts"
5. "The Vatican Endorses Jesus"
6. "The Munchkins Endorse Mayor of Munchkin City"
7. "McDonald's Endorses Mayor McCheese"
8. "Madonna Endorses Herself"
9. "The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Endorse The Dallas Cowboys"
10. "Hollywood Endorses Pretentiousness"

Hilarious.

How about:

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe endorses King Friday.

Those two endoresements were a given. The big surprise is that the Chicago Tribune endorsed Bush. I about choked on my Quaker Oats.
Off subject, but Tim Brown of the LA Times Sports pointed out today that the score in last night's Blowout In Beantown can be written: "19/8"
