Ding Dong, The Witch Is Dead
No, sorry Michael Moore, I am not referring to the resignation of the Attorney General, I am talking about the death of Yassir Arafat.
If I remember my recent history, hadn't Bill Clinton's people brokered a peace accord between the "Palastinians" and Israel, and didn't this doddering old fool play them and walk away.
The guy has blood on his hands and the world is better off with him gone.
There is a dim hope for the future over there, but at least this road block is out of the way.

Satan, receive an honored guest.
Yasser Arafat is laid to rest.
Here's how The Washington Post headlines it today:
Yasser Arafat Pronounced Dead in ParasLeader Was Loved and Reviled
"Leader" -- such a nice, neutral term.
Crud. Blogger's line breaks never work when you need them to. Also, the WashPost spelled Paris correctly.
I think I need a stronger cup of Joe.
Another poem I can understand!
The debate has started as to how the US should respond to this funeral. I heard that Jimmy Carter wants to attend. I say tie him up and lock him in a storm cellar in Plains, GA to keep him away. Given all the choices available, I say we should have a flyover by F18s, have one of the 4 peel away in the missing man formation and have the other 3 strafe the funeral.
Love it, Stewdog. It'll show we cared enough to send the very best.
