Morning Report

Let's see...

I see that Clinton/ Lewinski has reared its ugly head this morning. It seems the new Clinton Library devotes one exhibit area to the scandal and deals with it thus:

Bill Clinton (news - web sites)'s presidential library devotes one of 14 exhibit areas to the scandal, explained in the context of Republican Party efforts to discredit Clinton.

Wasn't this the scandal where Clinton sexually harassed a young intern by using his power and authority to seduce her into submissive sexual positions on the job, then lied under oath during a deposition about this behavior to thwart another woman's due process rights to discovery in her own sexual harassment suit wherein Clinton dropped his pants to her while on the job and then, when brought before the grand jury on his perjury in the deposition, committed perjury again, and also suborned perjury by intimidating Lewinski into signing a false affidavit, and then engaged in Abuse of Power by garnering her a job at Revlon as a reward for her perjury and also engaged in Obstruction of Justice by intimidating his secretary into gathering up and hiding all evidence of gifts that he gave to the intern, and of course he prefaced all of this by wagging that finger at us and saying, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"...? Whew...that was a mouthful (no pun intended).

What's that you say? It wasn't about Lying to the American people, Sexual harassment, Perjury, Suborning Perjury, Abuse of Power, and Obstruction of Justice? It was just about...sex? yyyyeah.

Moving on.

With the MSM, liberals, and world community trying to once again portray American Marines and soldiers as evil incarnate , don't tell that to the Iraqi forces fighting along side them:

Standing beside detained guerrillas, First Sergeant Ghasyn Fakhir of the New Iraqi Army said helping U.S. forces capture Falluja boosted the morale of government troops who have watched guerrilla bombings kill hundreds of comrades.

"Beating the terrorists in Falluja gave us badly needed confidence. We fought them with the Marines and we won," he told Reuters, punching his fist in the air.

Meanwhile, if you wish to contribute to the Export a Liberal fund, Stephen Moore at National Review can help facilitate.

Finally, this cartoon by Pat Oliphant is causing some controversy today. Some say it's racist. You be the judge:

I don't see the overall message as racist but the image certainly could be seen as such. Even if Oliphant didn't intend for it to be racist, he should have been "sensitive" enough to understand that you don't draw pictures of African-Americans with protracted lips. At any rate, it fails in its most basic sense -- it's not funny.

The liberal meltdown continues.

Not racist, just stupid.
Now, if it concerned a Democratic cabinet appointee, it WOULD clearly be racist.
