Next Big Seuss Picture: Green Eggs and Ham

Hollywood announced today that the next big blockbuster based on a Dr. Seuss book will be the beloved "Green Eggs and Ham." Jim Carrey and Mike Myers have been tapped to lead, though it is unclear which will play Sam I Am and which the Grumpy Guy. The issue will be decided by a game of "rock-paper-scissors" as production time draws near. Supporting players are already being lined up. Nathan Lane will play the Mouse, Janeane Garafolo the Goat, Uma Thurman the Fox and Topher Grace the Box. The book itself only yields about 20 minutes of screen time, so subplots will delve into the troubled past of both Sam I Am and the Grumpy Guy, including a rivetting sequence in which the Grumpy Guy gets food poisoning from a bad Mint McShake. Shooting is scheduled to begin in May.
