CONTROVERSY RIGHT HERE IN RIVER CITY

Ok, more like La La Land than River City, but trouble just the same.
Someone at a local high school green lighted a poster that was plastered on campus making fun of Dubya, a la Groucho Marx. Sorry kids, but if you want to make a living trashing Republicans, you have to get out of school first so you can be the next Robbie Conal. In the end, it was a school sponsord poster, so the kids' first amendment rights were never the issue.
Frankly, to me it is a tempest in a teapot and my solution wouldn't have been to tear down the posters, just trash someone from the left in the next one.

I suggest the entire Rumpus move into Barb's district and vote her out of office.

Ah, one must check out all the links for the REAL truth to out:

"officials ordered a hundred of the posters ripped from the Woodland Hills campus on grounds they promoted smoking and political preference."

Why is it I suspect that officials were more concerned with smoking than politics?

The ever delightful Ms. Boxer is our Senator, so we ALL live in her district, a shame right up there with living in Massachusetts, West Virginia, or Delaware. By Comparison, Dianne Feinstein in a Godsend.

Oops. My bad. I forgote Barb was a Senator. You've got Feinstein, too? Man, that is so unfair.

Without ever moving, CIV has had 3 different reps in the last several years. Once, by some horrible act of gerrymandering, we were briefly "represented" by Jim (I only beat kids and wives) Moron (d-VA). (Not sure of the spelling of his name, but that looks right to me.)
