Let the Games Begin

Our biggest fan, CIV, has thrown down the gauntlet, asking us to coing a phrase to describe the kind of journalism that has become the fashion of the day. It is typified by not doing your fact checking, quoting from the wire services, no independent investigation, blaming the Pentagon for not screaming "stop the presses", and anomymous sources. Why, CIV is so worked up over this we even got a %#^& and a $^($#@ from our most loyal follower. Let me start the nominees:

1. Cliff Note Reporting
2. Newsweeking
3. Whatever Journalism
4. Lemming Reporting
5. Sources Say Storytelling
6. Deadline Diary
7. Numbskull Notes

10. "I want an award* and I'll write anything to get it" journalism?

(* an award from other left leaning "journalists" so I can be rich and famous like Woodward or Geraldo, so who cares what chaos results from what I write.)
