Ya gotta love Cheney. He's the perfect foil for these little weasley guys like Howard Dean. Remember when he nonchalantly dismissed John Edwards (he was the guy who ran for Vice President last fall) as some guy he had never even met before the debates? What I loved about that exchange was that Edwards went running around afterward like a kid showing off Cheney's autograph to prove that they had once sat next to each other at some senate dinner event -- to which Cheney responded, "Oh...yeah", as though not wanting to offend the poor guy by hinting that he had no recollection of the encounter.
Whenever Cheney makes a cool and collected comment like this about a guy like Dean, I can't help but get the image of Cheney standing calmly with his arm outstretched, hand firmly squishing against Dean's face while Dean struggles and swings wildly at Cheney, each blow whiffing harmlessly against the air.

Frankly, we have Howard Dean exactly where we want him, as Chair of the Demographic Partee.
I just loved all the little comments by Pelosi, Biden, et al, that "Howard Dean doesn't speak for me". Guess again pals. He is YOUR DAMNED CHAIRMAN. HE DOES SPEAK FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Democrats need a new chairman. Someone who is more moderate. Someone who can both energize the base and reach out to new parties members. Someone like Michael Moore.
If Howard Dean were a Republican making the same type of incendiary comments about Dems, he'd be the most evil man in America.
The ACLU would be in court alleging "Hate Speech".
