Academics and the English language

Rose Nunez proposes an essay test for students of comparative literature.

That's weird. If you use this link to get to Rose's post, it shows up without comments (though Jeff has already posted a comment in response to Rose). If you click on No Credentials on our blog roll, however, and go to Rose post on "Comparative Literature," you'll see the post with the comment. Anybody have any idea why that's happening?

For some reason (perhaps the author only republished the index instead of the entire blog), the permalink versions all use blogger and the main blog uses haloscan.
