How writers say good-bye
Our recent discussion about how writers eulogize a loved one reminded me of James Lileks' incredibly moving account of his mother's death.

Lileks is a true poet. It's almost too difficult to read -- it's that moving.
See what I mean? I'm an avid reader of Lileks and I never read this. But Dowd's piece gets posted on Drudge?
