I loved this story only because one just knows that Penn was there to make a lame political statement -- "Bush is a moron and can't help these people so let me show him and his administration how it's done."
Uh huh...yyyeah. Might want to find a boat without uh...holes in it Seany boy. And uh...just a tip -- if you left the "entourage" and the "personal photographer" on dry land, you'd be able to fit more refugees in the boat. I mean, actually saving people was the point of all of this, right?
This is the perfect metaphor for Hollywood's pseudo-politcal activism -- Launching themselves pretentiously into unfamiliar waters only to quickly find themselves way in over their heads.
The Penn is mightier than the sword, but no match for a leak.
