They Just Can't Help Themselves
I'm used to the editorials in the LA Times making my blood boil. That's their job and that is the place to do it. More and more, the 'news coverage' is also just a thinly veiled editorial, with the writer's point of view the more important story than what they are covering. But must we turn to the BUSINESS SECTION and be pelted with anti Bush invective? If Michael Hiltzik wants to be an op-ed writer, than move to that page please. A few examples:
"The President. . . .whines. . ."
"The deplorable performance. . "
"An appalling combination of arrogance and ignorance"
"President Bush will surely feel the consequences of his dereliction"
"If a major earthquake strikes Los Angeles or San Francisco, will President Bush wait to respond until he can conclude his vacation, as he did last week?"
Bush needs to pull out Rod Smart's old XFL Jersey. . ."He Hate Me".
