At last...Peace in the middle east is possible

...Thanks to Sharon Stone:

"It feels to me that we have an opportunity ... to choose understanding in a new way," she told a press conference in Paris when asked about her trip (to Israel).

"And it really is just a breath. It's just an agreement that's just a breath. We are not far apart. We can choose to have this alternative kind of growth that is a collective nuance of understanding.

"We are just that breath away from a peaceful co-existence..."

If only Ms. Stone had been around in 1944; then we wouldn't have had to storm the beaches at Normandy and instead could have chosen an alternative kind of growth that is a collective nuance of understanding. I'm betting that if Churchill had only hugged Hitler and offered a schnitzengruben and, say Poland, that we could have avoided that whole Nazi mess.

I've really got to get Laura' book "Shut Up And Sing". It sums up how I feel about these idiots who think they know foreign policy. She had clips of Michael Stipe from R.E.M. on today. . . An yes. .the Cumbaya school of foreign policy.

If getting along is so easy, why can't anyone in Hollywood stay married? Aren't they "just a breath" away from getting along? What, is it really more complicated than that?

Good point, CIV. Hollywood types always have cure for the world's troubles but can't manage to cure their own menial lives.

Winston, I think a "collective nuance of understanding" is another way of saying "blah blah blah I'm Sharon Stone blah blah blah..."
