Having lost a friend in the Pentagon Flight I just feel too emotionally involved with it all to sit down to watch that movie yet. Since most of the families seem to support it, I can as well. My concern that it would be exploitative, rather than respectful.
S'dog, I'm with you. I've spent nearly all of my life in and around New York and D.C., so I know too many people who were directly affected by the attacks. The movie looks respectful and deeply moving, but I don't want or need to see it. Whenever a plane flies suspiciously low over my neighborhood, I pause and wait and worry. Even after nearly five years, I haven't really stopped thinking about the people on those flights.

Still too soon for me. Looks like a great film though.
I hope it's a good and respectful film, but nope, too soon for me as well.
Stewdog and Jeff, that's been the reaction of almost everyone I know. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me ...
It's the kind of film I'll watch one day on tv in the wee hours. I'll let it haunt me then but I can't see myself paying for that opportunity.
That plane was shot down.
That plane was shot down.
Thanks for enlightening us, anon.
I think I hear reality calling you. Oh, but you can't hear it can you?
I doubt Anon can hear it, Wonderdog. His tinfoil hat probably has little tinfoil earflaps.

I still say a prayer whenever a plane comes low over us.
