Politics

The Republicans need not spend any money on advertisements to win the next election. Just let the Democrats keep making shameful commercials like this one.
I pointed out last week the similaries between the ad for An Inconvenient truth and the film Scrooged. Well this commercial looks like a steal from the promo for the show that Bill Murray rolled out in the beginning of the movie. . . "Acid rain. . .drug addition. . world terrorism. . "

They seem to be relying on people recognizing a lot of faces and places in the ads. I wonder how many pay close attention? Politics is always front page news here, just outside of DC (as entertainment seems to be in LA), but I'm guessing that's not true all across the "flyover" states. (And even I don't recognize everyone in the ad, not being a TV viewer. But then I'll never see that ad on TV.)
