A Perfect Sports Storm
Next Saturday, LA will be sports paradise. To be found live in LA on the same day will be the USC Trojans, the UCLA Bruins, the LA Dodgers playoff game against the Mets, and the LA Kings home opener against the once competitive St. Louis Blues. Everybody who is anyone will be playing in LA that day.
Wait. . what about the Angels? Anyone know where they will be playing? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

SO... which game will SD be watching? Or are you going to record them all and spend a lost weekend in sportsland?
Correct me if I'm wrong, Stewdog, but didn't the Angels end up with a better record than both the Dodgers and that other team named after a cute little bird?
They're in the American league, though . . . you know, where they actually play some baseball.
team named after a cute little bird
I hope you're not dissing my Orioles.
No, CIV, I like the Orioles, though, come to think of it, they are cute little birds, too. :)
Oh. . KM. . you are so bitter. The rules provide that a team must either win its division, or have the best record of all second place teams in its league to advance to the playoffs. The St. Louis Cardinals, who won today in San Diego, accepted that challenge and won its division. The Angels had their opportunities, playing by the same rules, and choked. Have Top Dog explain it to you if you don't get it. oh. . so bitter.
And just as a tie in here?...remember who the Orioles were before they were the Orioles?..
yep...the ST.LOUIS BROWNS...
