Oh...Bama

Cringe...note to presidential candidates of the future: Please refrain from dressing like this and, if you must, insist upon no pictures.

I saw this on Drudge, and in fairness, he also showed photos of Bill, Hillary, and 43 dressed in local garb on foreign trips. . but non of them looked quite as silly.

I think Nan Pelosi looked pretty bad in those headscarves she wore during her middle east dictator tour.

Say, is it true the O'Bama won't salute the American flag and won't wear a flag pin? I don't care about the pin, but I'm sure hoping that the former isn't true. Anybody know?

I know about his flag pin issue, which I agree is no biggie, but I haven't heard anything about the saluting and would be surprised to hear that it was true.

OK, I checked his website:

O'Bama

He says he salutes for the pledge but not for the National Anthem -- he prefers to sing.

I haven't heard him sing. Hope he does so better than Hillary. Remember that YouTube video? And I thought *I* couldn't sing.

I don't think either the pin or the saluting are much of anything. I've never worn an American flag pin nor have I ever saluted the flag.

I do take off my hat and place my hand across my heart during the national anthem, however.

Oy...what a rag-tag cast of fools we have for this presidential offering...

Well, if I were running for president and had a middle name like Hussein, and a Muslim father*, and had spent time growing up in a Muslim nation*, and knew there were photos of me dressed like a Somali -- turbin and all -- I think I would:

1. Wear a flag pin.
2. Put my hand on my heart for both the Pledge AND the National Anthem
3. Wear a tie with suits.

Who doesn't wear ties? Rock-my-dinner-shed, for one. Some Muslims apparently think ties are Christian. With the internet rumors saying he's a "secret" Muslim, you'd think he'd want photos circulating showing him wearing a tie and crucifix (this is too important for a Protestant cross) and eating a ham & swiss on a nice Jewish rye bread.

I'm just saying.

* Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Wonder dog lies. He has no heart over which to place his hand.
