Jimmuh

It's good to see that Jimmuh Cahtuh is finally admitting the widespread fraud that took place in the Hugo Chavez referendum election last month to keep the tyrant in power.

Here's what Jimmuh had to say today:

"It is unconscionable to perpetuate fraudulent or biased electoral practices in any nation,"

Oh, wait. My bad. Silly me. He's not talking about the thuggish, murdering, socialist, tyrannical, banana republic regime in Venezuela under Hugo "Danny Glover Loves Me" Chavez. No no no. That election met with the finest standards known to Jimmuh! You see, Jimmuh personally verified the validity of that election.

Though, this study here seems to indicate otherwise. Key exerpt:

"Two Venezuelan academics claim to have found statistical evidence of fraud in last month's referendum on President Hugo Chavez, fueling the opposition's claims of a rigged vote and raising the possibility that despite Mr. Chavez's victory, the country's tense standoff will continue. The claims were made Sunday by Ricardo Hausmann, a professor at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and former chief economist at the Inter-American Development Bank, and Roberto Rigobon, a professor of applied economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management."

No, when Jimmuh mentioned "fraudulent...biased electoral practices", he was referring to the elections that are to take place this November in that bastion of despotism, the United States of America.

Here's what Jimmuh said we're doing down there in Florida:

"A fumbling attempt has been made recently to disqualify 22,000 African Americans (likely Democrats), but only 61 Hispanics (likely Republicans), as alleged felons."

Gee, I'd like a little more detail on that, Jimmuh. I mean, just what is it we're doing down there? Jeepers, it sounds to me like we're running roughshod over the Constitution or something! Disqualifying African Americans and Hispanics from voting?? By making them felons?? Now, I'm no legal giant, but I do happen to have a J.D. and I remember a bit from Constitutional Law and that sounds to me like we're engaging in a whole lotta violations of the Equal Protection and Due Process Clauses and stuff. Jimmuh? Is that what's happening down there? Is the government engaging in classification of race and deprivation of fundamental rights of American citizens without a compelling and necessary state interest? Sure sounds like that's what you're saying. And this coming from a former president of the United States, no less! Wow...where's the media!! Let's get some video of these Gestapo tactics! I'm sure there are some brown-shirt types down there with german shepherds on choke chains growling and foaming at the mouth as they nip at the heels of terrified and scampering African American youths, right?

Jimmuh also said that...(Adolf stand back)...Republicans are trying everything they can to get Ralph Nader on the ballot in Forida!! Good God, man! Why didn't you tell us this earlier!??! Call the National Guard! Republicans are attempting to get a man on the ballot who wants to save the environment and bring down evil corporations!!!

Weren't the Dems screaming in 2000 that Republicans were trying to stifle the vote in Florida? What would you call attempts to keep a candidate off the ballot and deny his supporters the opportunity to vote for him?

Whatever.

Hugo Chavez, like Stalin before him, is simply misunderstood.

THE PEOPLE . . UNITED. . WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED.
