We know Curt Schilling supports Bush, but who does "Manny Ortez" support?
The pain of the Red Sox victory was lessened a bit when I read here that Kurt Schilling endorses President Bush.
Now, can you believe the absolute Chutzpah that Kerry is showing in donning a Red Sox cap today? This guy just keeps proving time and again that he's a phony, snake oil, flim-flam artist. Isn't anyone going to call him on his ridiculously fake, bandwagon Red Sox ride?
Sighhh...Let's remind our readers again of Kerry's embarrasing comments about the Red Sox this campaign season which reveal him as anything but a Red Sox fan. Here's Kerry this campaign season:
"We've been waiting since 1918 for the Boston Red Sox to win the World Series, and ... if I had a choice between the White House and the World Series this year, I'm going to take the White House. How's that?"
Kerry told a radio interviewer that his favorite Red Sox player was Eddie Yost. Eddie Yost never played for the Sox.
Kerry praised 'Manny Ortez' of the Red Sox. There's no Manny Ortez in the Sox lineup or indeed, any other MLB roster. Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz play for the Red Sox.
Kerry and his ballcap, regardless of its phoniness, is going to really hurt him anyway. It gets him no votes in Massachusetts, a state he'll win resoundingly, but only goes to further dislike for him in St. Louis and Missouri in general, a state he is fighting for. Heh.
