Brian Nichols Captured
I've been watching Fox News cover the Brian Nichols capture this morning and frankly I'm shocked at the stupidity of the Atlanta Courthouse for assigning a 5'5" woman to escort a 6'1" 200 pound man who had just the day before been caught with two homemade knives in his shoes!
What were they thinking? I don't care how well she has been trained. The court should have either assigned two court deputies or simply assigned someone of equal strength to protect those poor people that he ultimately killed.
It seems to me that everyone has taken gender equality a little too far. Look, I'm a woman who believes that women and men should absolutely have equal pay and equal opportunity, but not at the risk of those that they are supposed to protect and serve. I suppose it's a hard and very sad lesson for all of us and hopefully, a lesson learned.
