That Whacky 9th Circuit

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is at it again. Steven Reinhardt, one of the most liberal judges on this most liberal court, wrote a 2-1 opinion throwing out a '96 murder conviction. Turns out that actions of the victim's family, who sat in the first row during the trial, prejdiced the defendant. Their transgression? (Don't read this out loud if children are present). Wearing 3 inch buttons depicting the victim. . in his military uniform.
Some here criticize judges for playing God.
I must criticize these two for playing court jester.

I heard the same thing is going to happen in the Scott Peterson case. It seems the family had the nerve to sit in the court room and cry during some graphic testimony.
