Art, Science, Theory

Over at 2Blowhards, Michael Blowhard comments astutely on the arts, "theory," science (biology, especially), and the blogosphere. He notes the way that the internet has allowed the "unanointed" to storm the stronghold of the marinated-in-theory academic literary community, and he points to some interesting work that's being done in biology which might have some refreshing applications to the study of the arts.
