AS I was laying down on Sat recovering from my car accident, I heard the news of the passing of Don Knotts. He will always be Barney Fife to me, and that character still makes me laugh outloud whenever I watch the old re-runs of the show..He was on The Andy Griffith Show for 5 years...and won the emmy for best supporting actor ALL 5 years. I'll put that up against any other TV actor past or present. The Increadible Mr.Limpett, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken...and so many more feature films always brought joy and laughter to me as a kid...and still do today. He was a giant of a talent in a small package. Loved the guy...just loved him.
