Via Amy P., a commenter at 11D, I've discovered a blog called Get Religion, whose purpose, as explained here, is to examine the way religion and religious issues are reported by the media. The blog explores what journalists on the "religion beat" distort or elide, as well as what they get right. It looks well worth a read.
