Will the 60's Please End

LA Times had a story today about a patch of land being used as a farm by immigrants in south central LA. Owner wants to sell, as his his right. So, Joen Baez, Laura Dern, and company show up to protest. I'm sure they would be very happy to have a group of poeple show up on their estates, not go away, and have 'outside agitators' telling them they can't do anything about it.
I tell you what, put your money where your mouth is, people. Pony up the 10 million for the property, buy the land, and give it to the sqatters who are farming it. Problem solved.

You touch on one of my chiefest complaints with the celebrity culture, SD. They are continually blathering on about the plight of the underprivileged yet haven't the gumption to sell one of their five homes or one of their Versace suits to feed a poor family.

It's all "feed the world" but "pass me the pheasant" with them.

Hypocrites, all of them.

Hey, SD, lead the way! How about publishing a map of these stars home with an invitation for illegal aliens to make their homes with the celebs who love them! Hand out maps, bus maps, and tokens and get them on their way ... just like the Mexican govt did for them when they were coming to America.
