A left leaning friend of mine sent me this link with the comment "I couldn't have said it better".

I'm not sure what the problem is. It's the same banal smalltalk that blights every social interaction from bum to billionaire.
Besides, I just checked in the Atlas, and guess what? Russia is big, and so is China.
